Website Redesign for Marriott Hotels and Resorts and Delta Hotels

CHALLENGE

Marriott came to us with the goal of redesigning all of their core hotel brands’ websites using a single design system they had already implemented. However, each hotel brand had very specific and unique needs, based on their business goals and individual audiences. We were tasked with putting these sites together on swift timelines for each. For this phase, I worked on Marriott Hotels and Resorts as well as Delta Hotels.

PROCESS

Due to the tight timeline, I worked closely in many collaborative sessions with art directors and developed a sitemap / content outline hybrid, as well as mapped out which components were to be used where instead of doing traditional wireframes for the website itself.

I worked tightly with the art directors on these two websites to ensure that stylistic choices made were not going to negatively affect usability or accessibility.
