Freely Pet Food Calculators

Freely, a brand new pet food company, needed a website with two calculators to be live by a pet trade show. On a tight timeline, we were tasked with designing and developing a custom website on Shopify, utilizing both templates and custom pages, as well as developed two wayfinding calculators.

PROCESS

This project had two distinct phases; the website and the food calculators. 

  • The website development had an extremely tight timeline due to the client launching their brand at a pet food convention. This required a web presence, so we worked on the website first and made that the priority. Due to the speed of this portion of the work, there was no time for formal wireframes. This required us to be very flexible, and I worked closely with art directors to map out which components were to be used where since we didn’t have time for formal documentation.
  • However, for the calculators, I provided detailed wireframes for each tool in order to provide design and development with additional documentation.

FINAL PRODUCT

I consulted with the art director while he applied branding and styling to the wireframes to create the finished, final product. It was my job to provide feedback to make sure any design or aesthetic choices made were user friendly, accessible, and usable.
